WishCupid vs Forevermore vs Ouvella: an honest comparison, with today’s prices

Updated · by Milad, founder of Ouvella

WishCupid, Forevermore and Ouvella all make the same kind of thing: a private digital surprise for one person, opened on their phone, with your photos, your words and a song. They are built very differently, though. WishCupid packs a page with games, a 3D cake and a countdown, priced in rupees. Forevermore puts your gift inside an animated world, from $10 to $30. Ouvella stages it as a mini-film opened scene by scene, for €9.99 once, and can hold it back until the date and time you choose.

Ouvella is our product, so we are not neutral. Everything said here about WishCupid and Forevermore comes from their own websites, read on November 1, 2026, and we say plainly where each of them fits better than ours. No affiliate links, and nobody paid to be here.

Ouvella’s price today

The Ouvella surprise gift costs €9.99, paid once, since October 24, 2026. There is no subscription and no premium tier: the same gift, with every scene, for everyone. Some comparison pages written before that date still quote an earlier, lower launch price. Our other two gifts are the surprise calendar (€14.99) and the group card (€14.99 for the whole group).

How to choose between them

1. A page to play with, a world to explore, or a film to watch?

WishCupid is the busiest of the three: games, a cake to blow out, a countdown, scratch cards. Forevermore is the most visual: an animated world holds your gift. Ouvella is the most narrative: one scene after another, ending on a reveal. Think about the person: some love to tap and play, others will want to sit down and read your letter slowly.

2. When should it open?

If the surprise is about the moment (midnight on their birthday, the morning of your anniversary, the minute they land), Ouvella lets you set the date and time it unlocks, in your time zone or theirs. With WishCupid and Forevermore you send the link when you want them to see it.

3. Do you want to hand something over?

Ouvella gives you a QR code and a card to print, to slip into a present or hand over at dinner. Forevermore’s Standard tier includes a printable keepsake. WishCupid sends a link and a password by email, ready to share on WhatsApp.

4. Where are they, and what language do they speak?

WishCupid is made in India, prices in rupees and speaks English, Hindi and Hinglish. Forevermore shows prices with a dollar sign. Ouvella prices in euros and works in English, French, Spanish, German, Italian and Brazilian Portuguese.

Looking for a Forevermore alternative?

Forevermore is a good choice if you want an animated world and video clips, and we would not talk you out of it. Ouvella is the alternative when you want your voice included without moving up a tier, a gift that waits for a date and time you set, a secret word with a hint, or a QR code on a printed card, all for €9.99. WishCupid is the alternative when you want games and a 3D cake on a tight budget.

How we made this comparison

  • We read WishCupid’s and Forevermore’s own pages on November 1, 2026: homepage, pricing, how it works. Every fact comes from those pages; when they do not say something, we write “not stated”.
  • We did not buy a gift on each site: this comparison relies on what each one publishes. Prices can vary by occasion (WishCupid lists several) and by currency.
  • Ouvella is ours. Its facts come from our own product, and its price from the price list the site charges.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Ouvella cost?

The Ouvella surprise gift costs €9.99, paid once per gift, with no subscription and no premium tier, and that has been the price since October 24, 2026. Some comparison pages written before then still quote an earlier, lower launch price. Ouvella also makes a surprise calendar (€14.99) and a group card (€14.99 for the whole group).

What is the difference between WishCupid, Forevermore and Ouvella?

All three make a private digital surprise for one person, free to build and preview. WishCupid builds a feature-packed web page (a birthday page has a 3D cake, a countdown and five mini-games), priced in Indian rupees. Forevermore sets your photos, letter and song inside an animated world, from $10 to $30. Ouvella stages a letter, photos, music, a voice note and a quiz as a mini-film opened scene by scene, by link or QR code, at the moment you choose.

What is a good Forevermore alternative?

It depends on what you liked about Forevermore. For a playful page with games and a 3D cake at a low price, WishCupid. For a gift that opens on a set date and time, or through a QR code slipped into a card, with your voice included at no extra cost, Ouvella (our product). If video clips matter most, Forevermore Premium remains the one of the three that states video uploads.

Which one lets me add my voice?

All three. WishCupid’s birthday page has a voice note player. Forevermore includes a voice note in your own voice on Premium ($20). Ouvella includes a voice note in the €9.99 gift.

Can the gift open at a specific date and time?

On Ouvella, yes: the gift can open right away, behind a secret word, or on the date and time you set. WishCupid’s page opens when you send the link, with a countdown to the birthday and a separate “Future Letter” that unlocks on a date you pick. Forevermore’s pages do not mention a scheduled opening.

How long do the gifts stay online?

WishCupid says the link never expires. Forevermore says the gift does not expire and is not a rental. Ouvella keeps each gift online for at least 5 years, and you can deactivate or delete it from your private link.
