About
What is Ouvella?
Ouvella is a website for creating personalized digital gifts that open in the browser, with no app and no account. There are three: the surprise mini-film (a letter, your photos, a song, a voice note, a quiz, your memories and a final reveal, which the recipient discovers scene by scene on their phone), the surprise calendar, with a door to open every day, and the group card, signed by a whole group. Each one is shared through a private link or a QR code.
The problem Ouvella solves
Most gifts are objects, and objects get unwrapped, admired for a minute and put away. They also need shipping, which fails you when the person lives far away or when the occasion is tomorrow. Ouvella replaces the object with an experience built from your own story: since there is nothing to deliver, it works across any distance, arrives the moment you share the link, and stays online for at least 5 years so it can be reopened again and again. For a physical touch, you can print the QR code and slip it into a card.
How it works, in 3 steps
Pick a universe
An animated setting that gives your surprise its mood. Everything is already prepared, you only personalize it.
Fill in your gift
A letter, your photos, a song, a voice note, a little quiz, your memories and a final reveal. About 5 minutes in total.
Share it
Send a private link or a QR code. The surprise opens in the browser, nothing to install, and you can schedule the exact moment it unlocks.
What goes into a surprise
The recipient taps through the surprise scene by scene, like a little film. Every part of it is optional and personalized by you:
A letter
Your words, beautifully staged
Your photos
A gallery of shared memories
A song
The soundtrack of your story
A voice note
Your voice, for real
A little quiz
A game about the two of you
Your memories
Moments retold one by one
A final reveal
The message that closes the film
Scheduled opening
Unlocks at the date and time you pick
Occasions it is made for
Birthdays, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, an anniversary, a thank you, or no occasion at all: any moment that deserves more than a text message. Because the opening can be scheduled (at the time you choose, in your time zone or theirs), the surprise can unlock at midnight on the day itself or on Christmas morning. And because it travels as a link, it is a natural fit for long-distance relationships and last-minute gifts. For concrete ideas, see our guides to an original gift for your girlfriend, an original gift for your boyfriend or an original Christmas gift.

How we write our pages
Ouvella is an independent project by Milad, who publishes every page of this site. Here is how they are made:
- The guides, product pages and message collections are drafted with the help of AI writing tools.
- Every price, feature and limit mentioned on the site is checked against the product itself, and pages are corrected when the product changes. Last full check: .
- The examples are made up, and so are the names in them.
