Comparison · November 2026
The best digital love letter websites: 15 compared honestly
Updated · by Milad, founder of Ouvella
A digital love letter is a private page that opens like an envelope or a little film: your words, your photos, often your song, sometimes your voice. Many sites make them now, and they look alike at first glance. They differ on what you will notice later: whether it stays locked until a time you choose or you have to send it at the right second, whether it carries your voice, whether you can still fix a typo after sending, and whether the link is still alive next year. We read the official pages of 15 of them, including the love letter makers on the first page of Google’s US results for “digital love letter website”.
The short version: for free, LovePaper (a permanent link, extras paid) or ShareLove Letters (a song, a password and an opening date, on a link that lasts 7 or 30 days). For the most features for $8, LoveLetter.digital. For a long letter in 12 languages, 2luv. For a letter with your voice that unlocks at the exact minute you choose (in your time zone or theirs) and stays online for years, Ouvella: a free preview, then €9.99 once to send.
Ouvella is our product. So we are not neutral: we listed it with its limits, we say plainly when another site fits better, and every fact about the others comes from their own pages, read on November 2, 2026 and listed at the bottom. No affiliate links, and nobody paid to be here.

2luv, LoveLetter.digital or Ouvella?
2luv and LoveLetter.digital are two of the sites AI assistants named when we asked which website to use for a digital love letter. Here is how they differ from ours: they are built for different letters.
- 2luv if you want a long letter organized in moments (your story, your reasons, your places), with up to 10 captioned photos, in one of 12 languages, and you will send the link yourself.
- LoveLetter.digital if you want video, a read-aloud and an email when it is first opened, and plan to write several letters for $8. You can’t edit a letter once it is published.
- Ouvella if you want your voice, a quiz and a final reveal staged as a mini-film, a letter that unlocks at the exact minute you set (in your time zone or theirs, with a countdown before), and the freedom to fix it after sending with no account. No video, no free sending, and prices in euros.

Number 15, in full transparency
Ouvella is an independent site, created by Milad. It is a love letter you fill in, staged like a short film, that unlocks at the exact minute you choose, in your time zone or theirs, with a countdown before. It is not free to send: the preview is free, then it costs €9.99 once. Pick Ouvella if:
- you want it unlocked at a minute you pick in advance (midnight on the day, for example, in your time zone or theirs), even if you are asleep
- you want your own voice in it, next to your letter, your photos and your song
- you want to fix it after sending, without creating an account
- you want them to open it again next year: it stays online for at least 5 years
Pick something else if it has to be free (LovePaper, ShareLove Letters, Gifft.me, Letters by Heart, or Just Meant For You’s free plan), if you want video (LoveLetter.digital), a long journey of games and quizzes (LoveTale), or if you want to write it in one of 12 languages (2luv).
How to choose, in 5 questions
1. Does it have to be free?
Then start with LovePaper (free to send, no sign-up, a permanent link; a song, photos and a set opening time are paid extras) or ShareLove Letters (free with ads, including a photo, a song, a password and an opening date, but the link lasts 7 or 30 days unless you pay). Gifft.me sends a free e-card with one photo, Letters by Heart a free note of up to 100 characters. Ouvella is not free to send: the preview is free, then it is €9.99 once.
2. Text, or your voice?
A voice note is what people replay. LoveLetter.digital, Longlove and Ouvella take one in the letter itself; GiftFeels on its Valentine’s template, OpenYourLetter as a card in its bundle, ShareLove Letters with its paid Keepsake or VIP.
3. Do you want it locked until a set time?
LoveLetter.digital, ShareLove Letters, Longlove and Ouvella unlock at the time you set, and so do LovePaper (a paid extra) and iLoveYou.gift (its Scheduled plan); check whose time zone counts (on Ouvella, you pick yours or theirs). On 2luv and OpenYourLetter, you send the link yourself at the right moment.
4. Will you want to change something after sending?
2luv, Longlove, GiftFeels, LoveTale and Ouvella stay editable. LovePaper allows edits within an edit window, LoveEnvelope for 7 days; LoveLetter.digital letters and OpenYourLetter letters are final once published.
5. Should it last?
If they will open it again next year, check how long it stays: seven days on Just Meant For You’s free plan, 7 or 30 days on ShareLove Letters’ free tier, 90 days on GiftFeels (extendable), a permanent link on LovePaper, at least 5 years on Ouvella. Ready to write? Our paragraphs for your girlfriend help with the words, and our love website for your girlfriend page shows a whole letter in practice.
How we made this list
- What people are told. On November 2, 2026 we asked ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google which website to use for an interactive digital love letter. We kept the letter makers they named most, plus Longlove, a newer letter maker. The same day we added the sites on the first page of Google’s US results, and in its AI Overviews, for “best digital love letter website”, “create a digital love letter” and “digital love letter website”: LovePaper, Gifft.me, LoveTale, ShareLove Letters, Digital Love Letters and iLoveYou.gift. Others came up too (MiMomento, YourLovePage, AISkyla, Gifts QR…): we kept to sites where you write and send a love letter, whose official pages we read. Gifft.me, a free virtual gift service with dozens of templates, is here for its love letter template, which Google’s AI Overviews name for these searches.
- Official pages only. Each site’s home, pricing, FAQ or terms, and its own llms.txt, structured data or public feedback page where we quote it. No third-party reviews, nothing from memory: the addresses are in the sources below. Where a site’s own pages disagree, we say so.
- What we didn’t do. We did not buy on every site. When a page doesn’t say, we write “not stated” rather than guess.
- Ouvella is our product. It is on the list with its limits, and the order is not a ranking. No affiliate links, and nobody paid to appear.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best website to create a digital love letter?
It depends on the letter you have in mind. If it has to be free: LovePaper (no sign-up, a permanent link; a song, photos and a set opening time are paid extras) or ShareLove Letters (a photo, a song, a password and an opening date for free, on a link that lasts 7 or 30 days unless you pay). For the most features for the money (video, voice, a read-aloud), LoveLetter.digital. For a long letter in 12 languages, 2luv. For a polished letter with no sign-up, OpenYourLetter. For unlimited photo letters on a lifetime plan, Digital Love Letters. For a playful page with open alerts and a reply box, Longlove; for a cinematic mini series, LoveEnvelope. For a long interactive journey with quizzes and games, LoveTale; for a page on its own web address, iLoveYou.gift. For many templates and a midnight reveal in their time zone, GiftFeels. To build a page block by block on a free plan, Just Meant For You; for a free short note, Letters by Heart; for a free e-card with one photo, Gifft.me. For a letter with your voice that unlocks at the exact minute you choose (in your time zone or theirs), and that you can still edit with no account, Ouvella (our product: a free preview, then €9.99 to send).
Is there a free digital love letter website?
Yes. LovePaper is free to send, with no sign-up and a permanent link; a song, photos and a set opening time are paid extras. ShareLove Letters is free with ads, including a photo, a song, a password and an opening date, but a guest link lasts 7 days and a free account’s 30 days unless you pay for that letter. Gifft.me is free with ads (a message and one photo). Letters by Heart is free up to 100 characters. Just Meant For You has a free plan with one live page, and new pages expire after seven days. LoveLetter.digital is free for 7 days, then the link pauses until you pay. 2luv, OpenYourLetter, Longlove, GiftFeels and Ouvella let you build and preview for free, then charge once to send; LoveTale lets you build for free, but publishing needs its subscription. iLoveYou.gift’s cheapest live link is $5 for 24 hours, and Digital Love Letters is a paid service.
Which digital love letter sites let me add my own voice?
LoveLetter.digital (a voice message, plus a video of up to 45 seconds and a read-aloud), Longlove (up to 30 seconds), GiftFeels on its Valentine’s template, OpenYourLetter as a voice memo card in its bundle, ShareLove Letters with its $3.99 Keepsake or VIP, and Ouvella, where every gift can hold your voice note. A voice note is not stated for 2luv, LovePaper, Digital Love Letters, LoveEnvelope, LoveTale, iLoveYou.gift, Just Meant For You, Letters by Heart or Gifft.me.
Can a digital love letter open at a specific time?
On some sites. LoveLetter.digital unlocks at a date and time with a live countdown. ShareLove Letters locks any letter until a date and time, with a countdown, for free; LovePaper does it as a paid extra, and iLoveYou.gift on its $36 plan (none of the three says whose time zone counts). Ouvella unlocks at the exact minute you choose, in your time zone or theirs, and shows a countdown, with nothing inside sent, until then. Longlove opens at the time you set, as it is where you are. GiftFeels’ Valentine’s page schedules the reveal for midnight in their time zone (its birthday page tells you to send the link yourself). 2luv says a letter’s delivery is not scheduled automatically, and OpenYourLetter says scheduled delivery is not included.
2luv or Ouvella: which one should I choose?
Choose 2luv for a long letter organized in moments, with up to 10 captioned photos, in 12 languages, editable after unlocking. Choose Ouvella if you want your recorded voice, a quiz and a final reveal staged as a mini-film, and a letter that unlocks at the exact minute you set (in your time zone or theirs), editable with no account and online for at least 5 years. As shown to us from France, 2luv’s letter costs €12.90 and Ouvella €9.99.
LovePaper or Ouvella: which one should I choose?
Choose LovePaper if you want it free: the letter costs nothing to send, needs no sign-up and keeps a permanent link, and you pay only for the extras you add (a song, photos, a set opening time). Choose Ouvella if you want your recorded voice, a quiz and a final reveal staged as a mini-film, all in one price (€9.99 to send, after a free preview), and the freedom to edit it after sending with no account. LovePaper does not state a voice note; Ouvella has no free sending.
LoveLetter.digital or Ouvella: which one should I choose?
Choose LoveLetter.digital for video, a read-aloud, an email when the letter is first opened, and $8 once for every letter you write. Choose Ouvella if you want to edit the letter after sending without an account, a mini-film with a quiz and a final reveal, and your own song from a file, YouTube or Spotify. LoveLetter.digital letters cannot be edited once published, and Ouvella has no video.
How long does a digital love letter stay online?
It varies a lot. Just Meant For You’s free pages expire after seven days, ShareLove Letters’ free links after 7 days (guest) or 30 days (free account), GiftFeels links last 90 days (extendable), iLoveYou.gift’s cheapest plan 24 hours, and LoveLetter.digital pauses the link after its 7-day trial until you pay. Ouvella keeps each gift online for at least 5 years. LovePaper gives a permanent link, Gifft.me keeps a gift until you delete it, LoveTale says letters never expire, Longlove says the page does not expire once sent, LoveEnvelope says it stays available permanently, and LoveLetter.digital gives permanent links once unlocked; ShareLove Letters’ Keepsake or VIP and iLoveYou.gift’s Forever plan keep a letter forever. Digital Love Letters sells 1 year of access or a lifetime plan. OpenYourLetter does not promise permanent hosting, and 2luv does not state it.
